A BIT ABOUT US

The vision for the Sloan Comfort Care Home began in 2015, with a small group of committed people who wanted to address the gap in care available to those at end-of-life in Erie County. Comfort Care Homes across the country provide compassionate care in a homelike setting to people with terminal illness.  In 2019, through collaboration with St. Andrew's Church and with the help of a generous grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, the first Comfort Care Home in

Erie County became a reality.

Located on the beautiful campus of St. Andrew's Church, the old convent has been repurposed and renovated into a 2 bed private home that will provide a safe, comfortable environment where guests will be cared for by trained staff and caring volunteers. Hospice of Buffalo home care agency will manage your medical, social work and pastoral needs. Our goal is to relieve the family of major care-giving responsibilities enabling them to spend more quality time with their loved one.
