A BIT ABOUT US

The vision for the Sloan Comfort Care Home began in 2015, with a small group of committed people who wanted to address the gap in care available to those at end-of-life in Erie County. Comfort Care Homes across the country provide free, compassionate care in a homelike setting to people with terminal illness.  In 2019, through collaboration with St. Andrew's Church and with the help of a generous grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, the first Comfort Care Home in Erie County became a reality.

Located on the beautiful campus of St. Andrew's Church, the old convent has been repurposed and renovated into a 2 bed private home that will provide a safe, comfortable environment where guests will be cared for by trained staff and caring volunteers. Our link with the healthcare system is with the certified home care agency that you and your family choose to provide hospice care. Our goal is to relieve the family of major care-giving responsibilities enabling them to spend more quality time with their loved one.

We are currently open and accepting guests at this time. Please call 716-931-5011 to check availability of rooms and to be put on our list. Alternatively you can message us here on our website/Facebook/Instagram and leave us a message with your name and number and we will get back to you.
